1. Praia do Guincho

2. Praia de Carcavelos
Only 20 minutes away from downtown Lisbon, Carcavelos Beach is one of the closest beaches and one of the most frequently visited beaches by Lisbon people. You will find restaurants and bars, surf and windsurf schools, and a few places to play football or volleyball.
3. Praia de São Julião
One of the most known beaches in Sintra. In between two big cliffs, lies this amazing beach that is treasured by surfers, fishermen and landscapes lovers. Not only the beach but also the cliffs are a real treasure with excellent views.
4. Praia da Adraga
Considered one of the 20 most beautiful beaches in Europe. Quite a romantic spot as well and perfect for couples that enjoy a beautiful sunset in the Nature Reserve of Sintra-Cascais. With more than 400 meters of sand, this beach is loved by visitors and fishermen. You also can find restaurants and the caves of Pedra da Alvidrar.
5. Praia de Galápos
This beach is quiet, calm and a perfect place to go scuba diving and see spearfish and other sea creatures. Protected by the Serra da Arrábida, it’s a paradise with a perfect blue sea and golden sand.
6. Portinho da Arrábida
Located in the Nature Park of Arrábida, this beach is nestled in a bay and has calm, crystal blue-green water which is excellent for swimming and diving. Closeby is the Coelhos beach, with golden sand and very calm waters. They’re the two most beautiful and calm beaches around Lisbon.
7. Praia do Tamariz

8. Praia do Meco
Surrounded by a clay cliff, this beach is considered the Mecca of the Portuguese naturalism. This big beach is of the cleanest and most refreshing beaches of South Lisbon with very bright crystal water.
9. Praia de Tróia
Located in the Sado Estuary, has several superb and soft sand beaches. With many interesting areas, like the 18-hole golf course and the 18 kilometers of coast, with untouched sandy beaches with dunes and pinewoods. The perfect place to escape to for a few days.
10. Costa da Caparica
With several kilometers of beach and gold sand, Caparica is one the most popular and lively beaches in Lisbon during the summer. Also at night when most of the bars are open until late with music, great for dancing. The beaches are Morena and Sereia, surrounded by dunes and with good bars, but increasingly popular is Praia da Cabana do Pescado, due it offers live music as well as sofas to relax.
